PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon attorneys Jamie M. Gershkow and Miranda L. Sturgis participated in the annual Women in ETFs “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” event, a global collaboration across 65 stock exchanges around the world in celebration of International Women’s Day. The Philadelphia chapter event was held at the Liberty Bell on March 8. The event focused on the current landscape of women in finance and how women can best position themselves to press for progress. Gershkow and Sturgis are members of the Leadership Board of the Philadelphia Chapter of Women in ETFs.
Women in ETFs is a nonprofit organization that brings together over 3,200 members, including women and men, in chapters in major financial centers across the globe to further the careers of women by leveraging collective skill and ambition.
Gershkow and Sturgis are associates in Stradley Ronon’s investment management group, focusing their practice on counseling investment companies and investment advisers in connection with various regulatory, compliance and transactional issues; and assisting investment management clients in all aspects of legal representation, including preparing regulatory filings, drafting and reviewing registration statements and proxy solicitation materials, researching various securities and corporate law issues, and drafting corporate policies and compliance procedures.
