NEW YORK – Stradley Ronon Partner
Jamie Gershkow participated in the seventh annual “
Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” initiative on March 1. The “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” bell-ringing ceremonies are a partnership among UN Women, Women in ETFs, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) Initiative, UN Global Compact, and the World Federation of Exchanges that aim to bring attention to the pivotal role that the private sector can play in advancing gender equality and to raise awareness about the business case for women’s economic empowerment. Nasdaq kicked-off the ceremonies by ringing the opening bell as part of a global effort by more than 80 stock exchanges around the world to foster gender equality.
Gershkow is co-head of events and education of Women in ETFs New York, a nonprofit organization that seeks to bring together people to champion goals of diversity, equality, and inclusion in the ETF industry. Stradley Ronon is a proud sponsor of Women in ETFs.
