PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Chairman Emeritus William R. Sasso delivered opening remarks at the viewing of “In a Different Key” at the Union League of Philadelphia on Sept. 7. “In a Different Key” explores the history of autism from the lens of the first person to receive the diagnosis. The private event, hosted by Stradley Ronon, The Precisionists, Inc. (TPI) and PECO, gave attendees a private screening of the highly anticipated full-length documentary. After the viewing, the audience heard from a panel that discussed neurodiversity inclusion in the workplace.
TPI is a Benefit Corporation whose mission is to create 10,000 jobs for neurodiverse adults over the next decade by providing IT and business support services to companies. They create jobs for individuals across a broad range of disabilities, including those with autism spectrum disorder and disabled veterans.
Sasso served as Chairman of Stradley Ronon’s management committee and board of directors for 27 years. His transition to Chairman Emeritus took place due to his desire to spend more time with his clients and in his political and community activities. Sasso counsels privately and publicly held companies and religious and nonprofit organizations in various matters, including general corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, health care, education, medical devices, tax and real estate. In addition to his legal practice, he has worked on a pro bono basis for the HRP project, as well as for the Philadelphia International Airport, the Port of Philadelphia and developments at the Philadelphia Northeast Airport.
