PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to congratulate former firm attorney Josh Shapiro on his victory as the 48th Governor of Pennsylvania.
“The Stradley Ronon community congratulates Josh on this prestigious honor to serve the citizens of Pennsylvania,” said Chairman Emeritus William R. Sasso. “We are very confident that Josh’s leadership, ingenuity and commitment to the public will serve him well, just as those talents benefited the firm and its clients for over a decade.”
Josh began his career at Stradley Ronon as counsel in January 2006, where he focused on general corporate work, real estate and regulatory compliance. Joining Stradley Ronon was an easy decision for Josh due to the firm’s dedication to giving back and serving the community. He left the firm after 11 years to further his dedication to serving others when he was elected to the office of Pennsylvania Attorney General in January 2017.
During Josh’s time as Attorney General of Pennsylvania, Josh prided himself on protecting the Commonwealth and its people through his record of delivering results for Pennsylvanians – from defending workers to holding drug companies accountable to fighting for good, stable jobs and a strong economy to improving our schools and making our communities safer and most importantly protecting the fundamental freedoms. In a recent interview in the firm’s Government & Public Affairs newsletter, Josh noted that his top priorities as governor would include creating opportunities for Pennsylvania children by improving the education system, building a stronger economy for job growth and making communities safer across the Commonwealth.
