PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon has recognized associate Claire Olivar and manager of pricing and practice support Brendan Curran with the firm’s 2023 Excellence in Mentorship Award. The recognition, given annually to one lawyer and one professional staff member, honors those who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to fostering personal and professional growth within the firm.
Recipients are nominated and then selected by the firm’s talent development and mentorship committee. Claire and Brendan were singled out for their roles as leaders and trusted advisers, dedication to relationship building and willingness to create opportunities for growth at every career stage.

Claire focuses her practice on counseling investment companies (including mutual funds, closed-end funds and exchange-traded funds) and their boards, as well as investment advisers, on regulatory, compliance and transactional issues. She provides analysis for investment management clients in all aspects of legal representation, including drafting and reviewing registration statements, proxy solicitation materials and other regulatory filings; researching various securities and corporate law issues; and advising on matters relating to fund governance.
As manager of pricing and practice support for the firm’s litigation practice, Brendan works closely with members of the legal team and practice support throughout all stages of the litigation life cycle. He defines case requirements, including the culling, analyzing and reviewing of discovery data; provides technical support and training; manages secure receipt, encryption and transmittal of client data; and coordinates and manages outside e-discovery vendors.
