PHILADELPHIA — In recognition of the firm’s steadfast dedication to pro bono work, Stradley Ronon has been named Law Firm of the Year by Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (PVLA). Several of the firm’s lawyers serve as volunteer lawyers at PVLA and help contribute to the nonprofit’s mission to provide free legal services, knowledge and resources to underserved artists and arts organizations in the Philadelphia region.
“We are honored to be recognized by PVLA and look forward to continuing our strong pro bono efforts to support the arts in our local communities,” said Stradley Ronon partner Michael Engle, co-chair of the firm’s pro bono committee.
“As a member of PVLA’s board of directors, I am especially proud of the firm taking home this award,” Stradley Ronon counsel Allison Gifford said. The importance of this work is to support the arts and arts organizations and, most importantly, bridge the gap between this community and access to legal resources—and Stradley Ronon is happy to support PVLA and its mission.”
The firm is set to be formally recognized at PVLA’s annual benefit celebration on June 5 in Philadelphia. Learn more about Stradley Ronon’s pro bono efforts.
