WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP) welcomed Stradley Ronon managing counsel Katrina Berishaj as a presenter at the 2024 national conference in Dallas, Texas. Stradley Ronon served as a sponsor of the conference.
The presentation, titled “Best Practices for U.S. Public Pension Plan, Foundation and Endowment Clients,” discussed various aspects concerning pension funds, endowments and foundations: their structural and regulatory differences, best practices for their initial due diligence, common client expectations and more.
Katrina is co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s fiduciary governance practice and advises financial services clients on issues arising under the fiduciary and prohibited transaction rules of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and the Internal Revenue Code.
