PHILADELPHIA –Stradley Ronon is proud to present the firm’s inaugural Pro Bono Service Award honoring a team for their remarkable efforts to provide legal representation to the underrepresented. Managing counsel Brandon Riley; associates Katherine Durr, Samuel Kishiyama and Cameron Redfern; and legal administrative assistant Lauren Winkowski, each were awarded $1,000 to donate to a charity or nonprofit of their choice.
“I am deeply inspired by our honorees, who embody the privilege and responsibility of using legal insight to uplift those in need,” said Ashley Shapiro, who co-chairs the pro bono committee with partner Michael Engle, co-chair of the litigation practice. “Their exceptional contributions exemplify Stradley Ronon’s dedication to excellence — not just in our legal practice but in improving the lives of those in our communities.”
The annual event, which took place on January 15, brought together firm members across all offices to celebrate Stradley Ronon’s steadfast commitment to pro bono. In addition, more than 30 Stradley Ronon lawyers were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the firm’s pro bono program, which provides legal representation to low-income, disabled and otherwise disadvantaged individuals on critical issues like civil rights, employment, property disputes and custody matters.
