The Internal Revenue Service delayed the payment of taxes due April 15, 2020 by three months. Therefore, the payment of taxes due April 15, 2020 is now July 15, 2020. During this three-month period, no interest or penalties will be assessed. Importantly, however, the federal income tax return filing deadline is still April 15, 2020.
