Bridget O’Loughlin focuses her practice on litigation and represents corporate and institutional clients in a wide variety of business litigation matters.
Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Bridget served as Philadelphia Assistant City Solicitor, where her responsibilities included drafting pleadings, motions and briefs, researching legal issues, representing the City of Philadelphia at arbitrations, taking and defending depositions and negotiating settlements.
As a law student, Bridget served as a law clerk for the Hon. Diana L. Anhalt in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia. There, she researched and drafted opinions for the Superior Court in relation to criminal appeals, wrote memoranda for all criminal Post-Conviction Relief Act petitions in front of the Court, provided advice on evidentiary issues, and conducted voir dire for the Court’s civil juries.
Bridget spent 21 years as a parole officer in the First Judicial District of Philadelphia Monitored Supervision Program, where she testified weekly in the Criminal Court of Philadelphia regarding defendants’ progress. She also spent five years coordinating community service, drug treatment and house arrest programs for defendants in the Intermediate Punishment Program.
