Applying his experience as in-house counsel at leading financial services firms, Gregg Orsag has a deep understanding of the litigation and risk management needs of large and midsize financial institutions, including commercial/consumer lending and asset recovery groups, broker-dealers, investment advisers, bank wealth management businesses and retail banks.
Gregg has served as lead litigator and negotiator on matters in federal and state courts and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. He has experience with federal and state bank regulators and regulation, including supervisory examinations and enforcement processes.
As in-house counsel, Gregg oversaw litigation, Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering and Office of Foreign Assets Control compliance; regulatory enforcement and investigations; records retention and e-discovery; board governance; business law matters; and customer complaint processes.
Before his in-house counsel roles, Gregg worked as a litigation associate in law firms representing clients in general commercial, antitrust, intellectual property, contract and tort matters.
