Robert “RJ” Norcia focuses his practice on litigation. He represents commercial entities in state and federal courts asserting and defending claims of breach of contract, fraud, negligent misrepresentation and tortious interference. RJ has particular experience representing health insurers in complex fraud and abuse matters, and defends these insurers against claims for benefits and breach of fiduciary duties pursuant to ERISA.
Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, RJ served as a law clerk to the Hon. George S. Leone, J.A.D., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Following his clerkship, he worked as an associate at a New Jersey law firm where he advised clients on ERISA and benefit plan litigation, as well as health care fraud and abuse litigation matters. While in law school, RJ served as the editor-in-chief of the Rutgers University Law Review and also competed in and won The Hon. James Hunter III annual moot court competition.
