Stradley Ronon Promotes Eight Lawyers to Partner

PHILADELPHIA  –  Stradley Ronon has elevated Peter Brockmeyer, Jennifer Hillman, Samantha Kats, Frederic Krieger, RJ Norcia, Claire Olivar, Daniel Pereira and Eric Porter to partner effective January 1, 2025. The eight new partners represent the firm’s business, litigation and investment management departments and are across three offices.

About Our New Partners:

Peter Brockmeyer represents commercial banks, investment funds, private equity sponsors, non-bank lenders and public and private corporations in structuring secured and unsecured credit facilities, including acquisition financings, syndicated loans, asset-based loans and real estate-secured transactions. He is based in New York.

Jennifer Hillman represents investment companies (including mutual funds, closed-end funds and exchange-traded funds) and their boards of trustees, as well as investment advisers in connection with various regulatory, compliance, investment servicing and transactional issues. She is based in Philadelphia.

Samantha Kats focuses her practice on securities litigation and fiduciary litigation as well as internal investigations, regulatory actions and complex civil litigation. She regularly defends Fortune 500 companies in the financial and investment management industries in customer and intra-industry disputes, and regulatory actions brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), state securities regulators and other federal and state regulators. She is based in Malvern.

Frederic Krieger is co-chair of the firm’s broker-dealer practice and has successfully helped a variety of clients navigate complex financial services regulation, corporate compliance and firm governance matters. His practice also includes complex litigation and enforcement representations for financial intermediaries. He has held senior positions at broker-dealers, exchanges, global banks and in government. He is based in Philadelphia.

Robert “RJ” Norcia focuses his practice on litigation and represents commercial entities in state and federal courts asserting and defending claims of breach of contract, fraud, negligent misrepresentation and tortious interference. He also has represented health insurers in complex fraud and abuse matters. He is based in Philadelphia.

Claire Olivar focuses her practice on counseling investment companies and their boards, as well as investment advisers, on regulatory, compliance and transactional issues. She assists investment management clients in all aspects of legal representation, including fund formation, securities and corporate law research, and fund mergers and acquisitions. She is based in Philadelphia.

Daniel Pereira concentrates his practice on business bankruptcies, receiverships and other insolvency-related issues. Daniel’s practice spans both transactional and litigation matters and he regularly appears in federal and state court proceedings. He is based in Philadelphia.

Eric Porter represents clients through all stages of litigation in state and federal courts. As an advocate for clients across a diverse range of practice areas, Eric handles matters ranging from intellectual property actions, contract disputes, insurance fraud investigations and product labeling claims, to the recognition of foreign arbitration awards, corporate ownership disputes and construction litigation. He is based in New York.
