NEW YORK — Four Stradley Ronon members presented at the ARK National Summit on Law Firm Operations on May 1-3 in New York. The summit provided updates on strategy, innovation and technology for professionals in law firm operations.
The event kicked off with a pre-conference workshop featuring Patrick Arkins, manager of business technology solutions and innovation, on “Generative AI in Law Firms Today and in the Future.” Panelists discussed best practices when implementing generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools, how law firms are leveraging generative AI and the future of AI in the legal profession.
Brian Seaman, partner and chief diversity officer, joined a panel on “Creating a Culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).” Brian and other panelists focused on the importance of DEI efforts from a business perspective and how to develop a supportive and people-first culture.
On the conference’s final day, Chief Talent Officer Ryan Galvin and Director of Knowledge Management Sarah Hirebet hosted a session on “Recruitment and Retention Strategies for a New Generation.” Ryan and Sarah discussed cultivating future firm leaders and training, mentoring and innovating in a hybrid or remote environment.
