PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that seasoned intellectual property and entertainment attorney Randy M. Friedberg served as counsel to pro bono client NYCNext, a passionate group of New Yorkers from all disciplines who have joined together to help inspire the city to recover and rebuild from the pandemic, in the launch their new “love letter” music video. The music video, a rendition of Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind,” features prominent artists and entertainers across a variety of industries featuring iconic New York locations to motivate New Yorkers towards civic action. In his role, Friedberg advised NYCNext on union, legal and contractual issues.
“As a fellow New Yorker, I was honored to lend my services on an original project to help lift the spirits of my community, show our “New York” resiliency and empower a sense of hope in such unprecedented times,” said Friedberg. “This music video sets the stage for New York to once again rise to new heights, and I’m proud to have been part of this initiative.”
Friedberg advises clients and businesses of all sizes for over 30 years on trademark and copyright law, unfair competition, art and entertainment matters, trade secrets, advertising, internet and cyber issues, rights of privacy and publicity, and general corporate and litigation matters. With a particular focus on entertainment and media companies, including advertising and marketing agencies, Randy often provides counsel on protection, licensing and enforcement of intellectual property rights – routinely finding creative solutions to highly technical and complex issues.
