Lara Burke is a seasoned litigator practicing in securities and enforcement, government investigations and white-collar defense. She represents individuals, broker-dealers, publicly traded companies and other entities in connection with all stages of enforcement before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Justice (DOJ), various Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), as well as in federal and state courts.
Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Lara worked for two well-known law firms in Washington, DC, specializing in securities enforcement matters. Lara graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served on the Submissions Review Board for the Journal of Law and Politics. Before law school, Lara worked as a Staff Assistant for Senator Dianne Feinstein in the U.S. Senate. She holds a B.A., magna cum Laude, in Political Science and History from the University of Illinois.
