PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Patrick R. Kingsley will present at the Surety Claims Institute 42nd Annual Meeting and Seminars on June 22 in Farmington, Pennsylvania. Kingsley’s panel, “Avoiding Problems in Taking Assignments,” will address rights that cannot be assigned, assignment of rights against surety bonds, inadvertently releasing assignment rights, assignments of lien rights, balancing of the equities and the subrogated surety.
Kingsley, chair of Stradley Ronon’s Construction Practice Group, has tried more than 40 cases involving diverse legal claims and fact patterns in several different forums across the country. He handles a wide variety of complex commercial disputes, focusing much of his practice on construction and surety litigation. As a trial lawyer, Kingsley has tried both jury and non-jury cases and represented clients in arbitrations, mediations and hearings before administrative law judges and referees. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Rutgers University School of Law, instructing students on trial advocacy skills.
