PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Attorneys Jonathan Bloom, Ellen Rosen Rogoff, Karl Myers, Adam Brown, Joseph Catuzzi, Shareda Coleman and Melissa Perry partnered with the Chamber of Commerce for Greater of Philadelphia to present, “COVID-19: The Evolving Employment Landscape” on April 7. The webinar addressed a variety of employment issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting economic downturn – emergency sick leave, emergency FMLA leave, governmental “business closure” and “stay at home” orders, layoffs, furloughs, safe workplace, temperature checks, employee privacy, enhanced unemployment compensation and other issues.
Stradley Ronon’s employment and labor group works closely with businesses to foster trouble-free relationships and avoid disputes with employees, unions and government authorities. The group counsels businesses on how to avoid employment-related issues before they arise. To meet clients’ objectives in a cost-effective way, Stradley fully assesses the situation from all angles to keep each client’s unique business considerations at the forefront of our analysis.
