PHILADELPHIA –
Catherine Ward, co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s environmental practice group, was a speaker at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Brownfields Roundtable. Ward presented on the Environmental Justice initiative in New Jersey and provided an overview of Senate Bill S232 which mandates a new permitting review process for certain industrial facilities.
Ward is the co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s
environmental practice group. Her practice involves advising industrial clients, developers and municipalities on regulatory compliance and redevelopment projects, identifying funding opportunities and assisting with remediation strategies. She also serves as Chair of the Environmental Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, President of the Women’s Energy Network of Greater Philadelphia and board Chair of the Wynnefield Overbrook Redevelopment Corporation, which is affiliated with Saint Joseph’s University. She was the 2019 recipient of the Touchstone Award from the Society of Women Environmental Professionals for her contributions to the profession.
