PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Attorneys Steven B. Davis,
Jeffrey D. Grossman and Adam D. Brown served as panelists at the Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (PAMIC) Virtual Claims Summit on May 12. The group presented the panel “COVID Issues for Insurers: Business Interruption, Employer Issues and Department of Insurance Update.” Grossman covered an overview of ongoing business interruption legal cases in Pennsylvania. Brown provided a briefing on current employment law developments resulting from the pandemic. PAMIC Board Counsel Davis joined PAMIC President Ron Gallagher to discuss developing issues at the Pennsylvania Insurance Department dealing with public policy notices under review by the PID dealing with specific rate and form filing issues.
Davis is a nationally recognized insurance regulatory and coverage practitioner. He regularly helps manage the firm’s insurance-related transactional, regulatory and coverage litigation engagements. For more than 25 years, he has provided skilled and experienced counsel and services in hundreds of insurance and reinsurance regulatory, coverage and litigation matters.
Grossman is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on complex litigation and regulatory matters within the fields of insurance, cyber, health care and construction. His practice entails resolving disputes between private parties, as well as disputes involving industry and governmental regulators.
Brown is a litigator and counselor who focuses his practice on employment and labor matters. He has represented companies in a wide variety of employment-related matters in federal court, state court, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, other administrative agencies, and arbitration proceedings. He also advises clients regarding hiring, wage payment issues, sexual harassment prevention, internal complaints and investigations, disciplinary and termination matters, human resources policies, social media issues, restrictive covenants, and theft of trade secrets and other proprietary material.
