PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that Associate Daniel M. Pereira presented at the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference’s 33rd Annual Forum, which took place in Atlantic City on March 31. Pereira researched and drafted one of the Annual Forum’s two commercial case studies presented at the conference.
In addition, Pereira assisted Walter J. Taggart, professor emeritus from Villanova University School of Law, in leading a roundtable discussion of the hypothetical problem, which addressed emerging issues surrounding the recently enacted Subchapter V provisions of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, including Subchapter V eligibility standards, requirements for confirmation of Subchapter V plans of reorganization, valuations of collateral, application of Section 1111(b) of the Bankruptcy Code, and Subchapter V procedures.
Pereira concentrates his practice on litigation and transactional matters with a focus on advising clients on commercial litigation, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights issues. He has experience in cross-border insolvency and restructuring proceedings. Pereira also has experience advising commercial lenders in loan enforcement matters, including workouts and foreclosures.
