PHILADELPHIA – With over 25 years representing both creditors and debtors in bankruptcy negotiations and litigation, Stradley Ronon is excited to welcome Amy Vulpio as a partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office. She joins from White and Williams, where she served as co-chair of their financial restructuring and bankruptcy practice.

“We have seen an uptick in bankruptcy filings around the country, which is likely to continue particularly with the stress in the commercial real estate markets,” said Caroline Gorman, chair of Stradley Ronon’s business department. “Amy will be instrumental in serving our clients across an array of industries by bringing to bear her unique perspective from representing both creditors and debtors in negotiations and litigation advocacy.”

Amy counsels financial institutions, secured lenders, insurance companies, lessors, trade creditors, and other businesses and individuals in financial restructuring, bankruptcy, appellate and commercial litigation matters. Recognized by Chambers USA, Amy is a member and former chair of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference steering committee and serves on the board of directors for the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project, where she previously served as board president. She serves as U.S. Fall/Spring Program co-director for the board of directors of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and as treasurer of the IWIRC Greater Philadelphia Network.
