PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Danielle Banks co-moderated a roundtable-style panel from the Pennsylvania Bar Institute titled “Women in Leadership in the Legal Profession.” The program brought together a panel of women law firm leaders to address the most prevalent challenges that they are seeing in their practices and firms.
Banks helped to guide the panel of women law leaders in the discussion of their individual paths to leadership roles in their firms, how to thrive in a hybrid work environment, current DEI efforts and the potential impact of the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent affirmative action decision. Through this discussion, the panel hopes to provide a roadmap to the next generation of women attorneys.
A known leader in the area of employment and labor, Banks devotes a significant amount of her practice to defending businesses, universities and governmental entities against employment discrimination claims, including claims brought under Title VII, Section 1981, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act. She also regularly counsels clients and is a frequent speaker on issues of race, employment, diversity and inclusion.
