PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon partner Lisa Jacobs and associate Megan Stamm joined the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Greater Philadelphia chapter for the Contracts & Commercial CLE Institute on February 28 in Radnor, Pennsylvania. The presentation, “Act 122 of 2022, New Reporting Obligations for LLCs and What’s Up Next,” covered how Pennsylvania limited liability companies can best navigate recent changes to the Pennsylvania Business Corporation Law (BCL) and new reporting requirements under the federal Corporate Transparency Act.
The presentation included information on revisions based on changes in the BCL, new and modified reporting requirements for state entities, revisions and changes contemplated by updates to the Uniform Limited Liability Company Act.
Lisa has more than 30 years of experience representing businesses and institutions on domestic and international transactional matters. She has served as an adviser to both private and public companies in a wide variety of industries on matters related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, institutional and private equity financings, and corporate and organizational governance issues.
Megan focuses her practice on corporate law, representing clients on a broad range of matters, including complex acquisitions, regulatory compliance, entity formations and governance issues.
