PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon partner Deborah Hong has been selected as the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania (APABA-PA)’s 2024 Attorney of the Year. She will be honored at the 40th Annual APABA-PA Banquet on Friday, October 18.

Deborah is a dedicated advocate for the APA legal and business communities. She serves on APABA-PA’s leadership advisory council and was an inaugural member of the steering committee for the Philadelphia chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiative. Additionally, Deborah is a leader in the broader community, as a member of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors and the Forum of Executive Women.
Deborah’s excellence as a lawyer and advocate for women and APA practitioners has been recognized with accolades, including from the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, Philadelphia Business Journal, The Legal Intelligencer and the National Diversity Council.
Deborah currently serves as co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s corporate and securities practice and also served as a member of the firm’s board of directors. She has over 25 years of experience advising public and private companies in the technology, financial services and consumer products sectors on a wide variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint ventures, divestitures, reorganizations, commercial finance, venture capital and corporate governance.
