WASHINGTON — Stradley Ronon partner Eric Hurwitz, co-chair of the firm’s financial services litigation practice, served as moderator for a panel discussion on June 4 at the National Flood Conference hosted by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association and the Reinsurance Association of America in Washington, D.C.
The discussion focused on current legal issues relating to the National Flood Insurance Program, including those arising from Hurricane Ian, multiple peril losses, documenting claims and the usage of master case management orders.
Eric is the partner-in-charge of Stradley Ronon’s Cherry Hill, New Jersey, office. He defends insurers in coverage disputes, including property and casualty, flood, disability and life insurance claims, as well as payment and performance bond claims. In 2014, Eric served as a member of the District of New Jersey’s Hurricane Sandy Litigation ADR Training Program for arbitrators and mediators.
