California employers need to prepare now for inevitable rules regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in hiring. New laws specific to AI and employment discrimination at the federal, state and local levels are emerging, and there is no better time for employers to prepare.
In a radio interview with KNX News, employment law partner Melanie Ronen discussed AI tools employers may be using for hiring and potential issues they may run into. She also covered one of the issues being considered by government regulators in California concerning AI issues in accessing job candidates.
