Linsay Sobers

Overview

Linsay Sobers concentrates her practice on domestic tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures, investments, structuring, and reorganizations. 

Prior to joining Stradley, Linsay was a senior associate at a Big Four accounting firm in New York, where she advised Fortune 500 companies, investment banks, and private equity firms on various state and local tax matters and performed mergers and acquisitions due diligence. Linsay began her legal career as a judicial intern for the Hon. Judge Dora L. Irizarry of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York.

Linsay received her LL.M. in taxation from the New York University School of Law. She received her J.D. from Howard University School of Law, where she served as President of the Latino Law Student Association and Hispanic National Bar Association, Law Student Division (Region V) and a member of the Goler Teal Butcher International Moot Court Team. She earned her M.B.A from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas.
