NEW YORK — Stradley Ronon associate Linsay Sobers has been recognized by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) as one of its first Atlas Award winners. The inaugural awards honor LCLD Fellows and Pathfinders who have shown the highest levels of engagement and dedication to their respective programs.
“We at Stradley Ronon are not surprised that Linsay has been awarded this honor from LCLD,” said Brian Seaman, partner and chief diversity officer. “Linsay is an excellent lawyer and a champion of diversity and inclusion. We are thrilled to join LCLD in applauding her efforts.”
Earlier this year, Linsay was selected for the 2023 LCLD Pathfinder Program, designed for junior associates with a passion for building diverse professional networks, developing foundational leadership skills and understanding career development strategies. LCLD is an organization of more than 400 chief legal officers and law firm managing partners dedicated to creating a diverse legal profession.
Based in Stradley Ronon’s New York office, Linsay concentrates her practice on domestic tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures, investments, structuring and reorganizations. She also has experience advising for-profit and tax-exempt organizations on various state and local tax matters. She is a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee as well as the Black and African American and Hispanic and Latin Engagement Groups.
