PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Joseph J. McHale presented at the University of the Sciences’ Philadelphia College of Pharmacy’s 38th Annual Symposium on Advances in Pharmacy Practice on March 5 in Philadelphia. McHale’s panel, “Updates in Pharmacy Law,” discussed the elements of professional negligence, the duties imposed upon pharmacists by the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 (OBRA), concepts of malpractice and errors related to physician prescribing.
McHale, partner-in-charge of Stradley Ronon’s Malvern, Pennsylvania, office, is chair of the products liability and life sciences practice group. He represents pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers, pharmacists, physicians, businesses and individuals with personal injury claims. McHale also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where he has taught Pharmacy Law for more than 20 years.
