PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Marissa Parker served as a panelist at the ICI Mutual Insurance Company 2018 Risk Management Conference on April 13 in Memphis, TN. Parker’s panel, “Role Reversal: Funds as Plaintiffs,” discussed various processes and considerations for funds in evaluating whether to opt out of a U.S. class action by bringing a direct securities fraud suit, or participate in securities litigation overseas.
Parker, who serves as chair of Stradley Ronon’s hiring committee, represents corporate, mutual fund, institutional and nonprofit clients as both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation matters, with a focus in securities, investment management, health care and ERISA.
