PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Kevin R. Casey served as a panelist at KnowIt, an annual event that brings together creators and protectors of intellectual property and other innovative outputs for an unprecedented discourse and collaboration, which took place digitally on May 12. Casey’s presentation, entitled “Trademark Case Law Year in Review,” provided a review of the most noteworthy trademark and unfair competition cases of the past year.
Casey is chair of the intellectual property and the IP litigation groups at Stradley Ronon and an active member of the alternative dispute resolution, education and appellate groups. He has counseled clients for over 30 years in all aspects of the IP field, focusing on patents, trademarks, trade secrets, licensing and opinions. He has served as judge to the Temple Law IP Moot Court team for several years. Casey has also been lead litigation counsel and has participated as assistant counsel in more than 60 cases. He has an active appellate practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, where he clerked for former Chief Judge Helen Nies.
