PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that corporate partners Deborah Hong and Anastasia C. Sheffler-Wood have been elected to serve as members of the firm’s board of directors.
Additionally, existing board members Kevin R. Boyle, Matthew R. DiClemente and Alison M. Fuller were reelected to new terms.

Hong focuses her practice on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings. She advises a number of publicly held and privately-owned companies in the technology, financial services, manufacturing, and consumer products sectors. Hong also provides corporate and strategic business counseling for a variety of clients.
Hong is an active member of civic, charitable and industry organizations. Hong serves on the Board of Directors of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce, the Leadership Advisory Council of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania and the Steering Committee of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Initiative. She is also a member of the Forum of Executive Women and Co-Chairs the Corporate Development Committee of Ascend Philadelphia. Hong has received many awards and accolades in honor of her professional legal accomplishments, including The Legal Intelligencer’s Most Effective Dealmakers Award, the Philadelphia Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar: Philadelphia’s Top Lawyers Award,” and the National Diversity Council’s Pennsylvania Most Powerful & Influential Women Award.
Sheffler-Wood focuses on corporate law, representing public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and cross-border transactions. Additionally, she handles private equity and venture capital investments. Sheffler-Wood also provides general corporate counseling to clients in numerous industries, including manufacturing, aerospace, transportation and logistics, food and beverage, financial services and information technology.
Throughout her legal career, Sheffler-Wood has received several distinguished professional honors. She is one of only twelve attorneys chosen from across the nation to receive The M&A Advisor’s 2020 Emerging Leaders Award, one of three attorneys in the United States honored by Law360 as a 2021 Rising Star for transactional work in the transportation industry, one of nine M&A attorneys in Pennsylvania selected by Super Lawyers as a 2021 Rising Star, and one of The Legal Intelligencer’s 2017 Lawyers on the Fast Track.
