Lisa R. Jacobs was a presenter at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) course, “The Role of Indemnity and Insurance in Business Transactions,” which took place on May 19. The PBI program covered several topics, including identifying the sources and scope of indemnity, drafting and enforcing indemnity clauses to maximize or minimize indemnification and demystifying the language of insurance coverage indemnity.
Jacobs has extensive experience representing businesses and institutions on domestic and international transactional matters. For more than 30 years, Jacobs has served as an advisor to both private and public companies in a wide variety of industries on matters related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, institutional and private equity financings, securitization and structured finance and corporate governance issues.
