PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon announced today that Dean V. Krishna, who focuses his practice on domestic and international income tax matters, has joined the firm’s Philadelphia office as counsel from Dechert.
A member of Stradley Ronon’s tax practice group, Krishna advises on U.S. and international mergers and acquisitions, acquisition financing, syndicated lending arrangements, securities offerings, structured finance transactions, business restructurings, and general domestic and cross-border tax planning.
“Dean brings sophisticated capabilities in the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, which is an area of critical importance for our clients,” said Todd C. Vanett, Stradley Ronon’s tax chair. “His extensive income tax knowledge will enable him to provide pragmatic, actionable advice and serve to further deepen our bench of talented lawyers in this area.”
Krishna graduated from University of Pennsylvania Law School, also earning a Certificate in Business & Public Policy from the Wharton School of Business. He obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, where he received the Wilf Tax Scholarship and served as editor of the Tax Law Review. He earned his B.A. in Environmental Studies, cum laude, from Dartmouth College and earned an M.A. in Education from San Jose State University.
