Julie M. Murphy served as a panelist at the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference’s presentation, “60 Cases in 90 Minutes,” on March 11. Murphy’s panel addressed recent developments in bankruptcy law from the top commercial and consumer bankruptcy cases of 2020.
The Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference is a non-profit organization that was formed to promote the education and interests of its members and the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania residing in the ten counties within the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Members include judges, lawyers, other professionals and paraprofessionals who specialize in the practice of bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors’ rights law in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Murphy, a partner in the firm’s
financial services practice group, concentrates her practice on
bankruptcy, workouts and creditors' rights. She regularly represents financial institutions and other creditors, helping maximize recoveries on troubled credits and advising in the areas of business reorganization and loan restructuring.
