PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon announced that attorney
Michael Tang has joined the firm’s Philadelphia office as an associate in the business department.
Tang represents public and private companies on business and corporate transactional matters. His practice includes securitization, structured finance and general corporate work. Outside of the firm, Tang serves on the Board of Directors of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and received the 2021 “Bar Star” Award.
Before joining Stradley Ronon, Tang was a corporate tax associate at an international Big Four accounting firm in Philadelphia, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. He earned his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation,
with distinction, from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he served as research editor for the
Temple International & Comparative Law Journal.
During law school, he was a summer law clerk to the Hon. Novalyn L. Winfield of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. He received his B.A.,
magna cum laude, from Lehigh University.
