PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon’s securities litigation & enforcement (SLE) practice continues to add strength on strength with the addition of New York partner Steven D. Feldman. Steven’s 25 years of experience, including six years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan, and four years in the office’s Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force, bolsters the firm’s white-collar capabilities and enhances the geographic reach of Stradley’s growing SLE practice.
Feldman’s practice focuses on companies and individuals accused of securities and commodities law violations, public corruption, business crimes and fraudulent practices by U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, States Attorneys General, District Attorneys’ Offices, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. He has extensive experience in public corruption investigations and prosecutions, art and cultural object-related crimes, health care fraud cases and cases arising under the securities laws. In criminal and regulatory matters, he works with broker-dealers, stockbrokers, hedge funds, investment advisors, corporate executives and whistleblowers, among others.
Feldman also works with companies and in-house counsel to conduct internal investigations and represents individual executives in corporate internal investigations. He aids companies and individuals in criminal and regulatory investigations, criminal prosecutions, enforcement proceedings and other high-stakes litigation.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Steve to Stradley Ronon,” said Jeff A. Lutsky, co-chairman and managing partner. “Steve is an exceptional lawyer and person, and his white-collar securities and commodities experience is a perfect complement to our robust SLE, investigation and financial service practices.”
Feldman joins Stradley on the heels of several recent high-profile additions to the firm, including Jan Folena, a former Supervisory Assistant Chief Litigation Counsel in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and Susan Gault-Brown, a nationally recognized leader in the fintech and crypto space. The firm has welcomed more than a dozen new attorneys to its New York office in the past year.
“Stradley is the perfect fit for my clients and my practice,” said Feldman. “The reputation of the firm and its SLE team is why I was attracted to this exciting opportunity. With Stradley’s broader platform, I will also be able to offer my clients a full range of legal services which I could not previously provide in areas such as tax, mergers and acquisitions, employment, intellectual property and other specialty areas that are important to my clients.”
Feldman received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A., cum laude, from Tufts University.
