PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that
Deborah A. Reperowitz presented the Celesq
® AttorneysEd Center webcast, “Mediation: Nothing To Lose and So Much To Gain,” on Dec. 17. In the program, Reperowitz and Jeffrey Zaino, the Vice President of the Commercial Division of the American Arbitration Association in New York, discussed the essentials of mediation, including the mediation process, advance agreements to mediate, the “right” time to mediate and the frequently unrecognized benefits of mediation. Attendees learned how with the assistance of their counsel, well-prepared, reasonable disputants use mediation to resolve their differences in a cost-efficient, practical manner that could not be achieved through litigation.
Reperowitz has an active
alternate dispute resolution practice and frequently serves as a mediator or arbitrator. She is listed on the panels of mediators and arbitrators maintained by the American Arbitration Association and the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Reperowitz also is a nationally recognized bankruptcy and commercial litigation attorney and co-chair of the firm’s bankruptcy, workouts & creditors’ rights group. Reperowitz uses her experience as in-house and law firm counsel to provide clients with pragmatic, business-minded advice and representation in all aspects of bankruptcy, business restructuring and commercial litigation matters. She has represented clients in the financial services, healthcare, insurance, real estate, telecommunications, airline and general manufacturing sectors.
