Deborah A. Reperowitz moderated a panel discussion at the Turnaround Management Association Distressed Investing Conference on Feb. 6 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The annual TMA Distressed Investing Conference is the preferred meeting place for corporate restructuring and distressed investing professionals and was attended this year by nearly 900 professionals. Reperowitz moderated the “Innovative Financing and DIP Substitutes” panel, which discussed four case studies, including one presented by Reperowitz, involving alternatives to traditional debtor-in-possession (DIP) loans.
Reperowitz is a nationally recognized bankruptcy and commercial litigation attorney and co-chair of the firm’s
bankruptcy, workouts & creditors’ rights group. A former partner at “Biglaw” firms and senior vice president and chief litigation counsel at CIT Group, Reperowitz uses her experience as in-house and law firm counsel to provide clients with pragmatic, business-minded advice and representation in all aspects of bankruptcy, business restructuring and commercial litigation matters.
