PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce the firm hosted Extraordinary Women on Boards (EWOB) for a luncheon and roundtable discussion on February 20 at the firm’s Philadelphia office.

Partners Sara Crovitz and Miranda Sturgis presented to the group about the evolving securities law regulatory landscape and key considerations for boards under the new administration. The event also included time for networking with EWOB directors and Stradley Ronon lawyers.

EWOB was founded in 2017 as a private membership network of highly accomplished women who serve on public and private for-profit boards. With over 900 members, representing over 2500 boards, EWOB focuses on governance best practices, staying cutting edge in their knowledge, and amplifying the impact of women inside boardrooms and beyond.

Sara is co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s investment management practice and provides counsel on all aspects of investment company and investment adviser regulation. Her sophisticated understanding of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission regulation and compliance of investment companies and advisers is sought after in the asset management industry.

Miranda counsels clients on matters such as the formation, registration and ongoing regulation of investment companies, including index-based and actively managed ETFs and mutual funds across a wide range of asset classes. She also assists in the representation of clients in transactional matters, such as fund mergers and acquisitions.
