PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Prufesh R. Modhera was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, which is the Washington, D.C. chapter of the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students in grades K-12 about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, reaching more than 8 million students in 100 countries worldwide. Junior Achievement’s mission is to make learning relevant to every student’s future by infusing authenticity, business connectivity and real role models into everyday learning experiences.
Modhera serves as partner-in-charge of Stradley Ronon’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice includes counseling investment companies, investment advisers and independent directors on complex securities law issues arising under various federal securities laws including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940. He assists clients in responding to SEC inquiries and provides advice to boards of directors on various governance issues. Modhera also counsels sponsors and investment advisers in forming and structuring private investment funds including domestic and offshore hedge funds, funds of hedge funds and private equity funds.
