Stradley Ronon Counsel John Baker was quoted in Law360's article, “Investor Groups Take On SEC Paperless Reporting Rule,” on the SEC's approved plan that allows mutual fund companies to release most shareholder reports online and send out paper documents only upon request.
“It’s something that’s strongly favored by the fund industry because it’s going to mean significant cost savings for funds and therefore for fund shareholders. I also think, frankly, that most fund shareholders, when they get these shareholder reports, just feel that they're inundated with paper and they throw them away. So I think on balance it’s a positive,” said Baker.
