PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Attorney Jamie M. Gershkow was elected to the board of directors of the Schuylkill River Development Corporation (SRDC) on Sept. 20. SRDC is a nonprofit organization that seeks to revitalize Philadelphia’s tidal Schuylkill River corridor into an asset that connects neighborhoods and encourages investment. Working with the City and stakeholders to build, maintain, and program Schuylkill Banks, SRDC drives improvements in recreation and transportation, community and economic development, public health, and environmental stewardship, benefiting neighbors, Philadelphia and the region.
Gershkow focuses her practice on advising investment companies, independent trustees and investment advisers. She frequently counsels on regulatory and compliance matters, the applicability and interpretation of securities laws, and the formation and management of registered investment companies, including exchange-traded funds (ETFs), money market funds, and multi-manager funds. Gershkow also counsels on transactional matters, such as fund mergers and acquisitions.
