PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Michael P. O’Hare has been selected as one of The Philadelphia Inquirer’s 2019 Influencers of Law in the “Investment Management” category. This recognition honors Philadelphia’s leading lawyers who have raised the bar by impacting business and serving the community.
To determine Influencers of Law winners, a panel of experts judged nominees on their accomplishments in their specialized legal practice, impact on business and service to the community. Winners were profiled in the Inquirer’s Sunday Business section on March 24, and honored at an awards luncheon held at the Crystal Tea Room on March 26.
O’Hare focuses his practice on advising investment companies (including mutual funds, closed-end funds, business development companies and private funds), independent directors, investment advisers, broker dealers and financial services organizations with regard to securities and corporate laws and regulations, compliance and transactional matters. He assists clients with fund creation and operation; business transactions such as fund and adviser restructurings, acquisitions and other corporate transactions; and negotiation of various service provider and intermediary agreements. O’Hare has particular experience with regard to corporate governance and represents both funds and fund independent directors.
