Michael Mundt served as a panelist at the New York Stock Exchange’s Virtual ETF Industry Summit on Sept. 29. The summit offered in-depth discussions with industry leaders on the future of ETFs. Mundt’s panel covered “Legal & Regulatory Updates for 2020.” Mundt’s remarks focused on compliance with the SEC’s new ETF rule, the possible conversion of mutual funds to ETFs, and the recent introduction of the first semi-transparent actively managed ETFs.
Mundt is nationally recognized for his work in the area of
ETFs. He assists clients with all phases of the complex regulatory process required to introduce and operate index-based and actively managed ETFs, as well as next generation exchange-traded products. More generally, he counsels
investment advisers and
investment companies on a wide range of issues arising under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and other federal securities laws.
