PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that Partner Eric Purple presented at the Investment Company Institute's 2022 Closed-End Fund Conference, which took place on Nov. 17 in New York City. The panel, “Legal and Regulatory Challenges for Closed-End Funds,” discussed the everchanging closed-end fund legal landscape. Purple and others examined the impacts of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission pursuing a voluminous rulemaking agenda and both federal and state governments crafting legislation that would impact the industry.
Purple provides counsel on all aspects of investment company and investment adviser regulation. He represents a broad range of ETFs, mutual funds, closed-end investment companies, business development companies and other pooled investment vehicles and their investment advisers on matters arising under the U.S. federal securities laws. He also serves as a trusted counselor to the independent directors or trustees of a number of investment companies.
