PHILADELPHIA — Members of Stradley Ronon’s investment management practice traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to join Thrivent and the Investment Company Institute (ICI) in commemorating the 100th anniversary of the nation’s first mutual fund on July 11. The anniversary was also celebrated in June with an event at Stradley Ronon’s Philadelphia office.
The event included a roundtable discussion about regulatory issues faced by legal and compliance professionals in the mutual fund space. Panelists included Sara Crovitz, co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s investment management practice and Prufesh Modhera, co-chair of the private investment funds practice.
After the roundtable, ICI President and CEO Eric J. Pan joined for a fireside chat, which was followed by a networking reception.
Stradley Ronon’s investment management practice has helped shape the industry for almost a century, counseling investment advisers, public and private funds and fund sponsors, fund boards and trustees, service providers, insurance companies and other industry participants.
