Split 6th Circ. Backs SEC Win In Proxy Adviser Rule Change

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit recently split with the Fifth Circuit and upheld the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)'s decision to partially undo rules governing proxy advisers. Sara Crovitz, co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s investment management department, discussed whether the split would send the case to the Supreme Court.
