NEW YORK – The Fall 2024 ETP Forum in New York invited Stradley Ronon partner Steve Feinour to join an exchange-traded fund (ETF) panel on November 13.
The discussion, titled “New-to-Market ETF Roundtable,” touched on the growing adoption of the ETF structure by asset managers, advantages and challenges of the ETF landscape and what drives asset managers to implement their strategies within an ETF wrapper.
Steve counsels investment companies and investment advisers on a wide range of issues arising under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and other federal securities laws. He regularly advises clients on the formation, registration and ongoing regulation of all types of investment companies across all asset classes, including 1940 Act ETFs, 1933 Act-only ETPs and mutual funds. In particular, he has advised clients on digital asset-related 1940 Act ETFs and 1933 Act-only ETPs, including some of the industry’s first spot bitcoin and spot ether ETFs. He is also a frequent speaker on ETF-related topics.
